Laserfiche provides attorneys with the ability to quickly index, archive, bates stamp and share information among partners, co-council, opposing council as well as expert witnesses.

Using a high speed scanner documents may be scanned from 25 to 100 pages per minute. Even the largest volume of paper can be processed with relative ease.  As documents are processed in Laserfiche, the intelligent OCR engine provides the ability to search for phrases, key words, even the Bates number. Boolean searches are accomplished with ease. Searches may even be limited to one folder or a group of folders. You may even search the entire database. Templates are available to mark documents that may be handwritten, where OCR is not an option. Templates can be searched by keyword or bates number also. X-rays, photos, maps - virtually any document can also be archived in Laserfiche for a permanent archive.

Documents can be searched, printed, e-mailed, or redacted. Electronic sticky notes can also be placed on any document as reference notes or reminders. With the optional LF Plus plug-in, documents can be burned to CD with the search engine, providing portability of the scanned or electronically saved document or image. The CD allows the sharing of the information outside of the office with co-council, expert witnesses, as well as providing a means to carry all of the documents into the court room on a laptop computer.

Using the laptop and power point projector, documents can be shown on a screen inside the courtroom when necessary. Searches during a trial, hearing or deposition for key words, phrases, or numbers are as simple to find as a mouse click. Perjury can be identified quickly.
